Nido's core business activity comprises oil and gas exploration and production activities in the Philippines offshore Palawan Basin. The company has interests in three Service Contracts and is negotiating for a fourth, having being selected as a preferred bidder by the Philippines Department of Energy.
Nido has interests in eight exploration blocks in the UK North Sea. These Blocks are considered non-core and divestment strategies are being pursued.
Nido has a 26.1% strategic investment in Cool Energy Ltd. Cool Energy is a developer of a new cryogenic gas conditioning technology and is based in Perth.
