    David has 23 years oil industry experience focussing on management, gas marketing, business development and reservoir engineering. His prior work experience included appointments as Project Director of the West Java Gas project with Conoco-Phillips in Jakarta, Vice President of Business Development for Gulf Indonesia Resources in Jakarta, Managing Director of Gulf (Australia) Resources in Perth and Vice President of Heavy Oil for Husky Oil in Canada. Prior to entering the oil patch, David was an officer in the Canadian Armed Force military engineering branch.

    James is an energy consultant with 23 years of experience in the Asia-Pacific finance and energy sectors. He was formerly a First Vice President of Merrill Lynch and head of Merrill Lynch's energy research group, based in Sydney and Singapore. His prior finance industry experience included positions with Morgan Stanley and Baring Securities in Sydney. He worked with ExxonMobil in Australia for six years where he held positions in the areas of drilling engineering, reservoir engineering and gas marketing.

    James is a member of the South-East Asian Petroleum Exploration Society (SEAPEX).

    Vince has over 17 years experience in debt restructuring, capital markets, and private equity in emerging markets, including appointments in Pittsburgh, London, New York and Singapore with Mellon Bank and Lazard Freres, where he was the first Asian partner.

    In early 2001 he served as Undersecretary for Industry at the Department of Trade and Industry and as Managing Head of the Board of Investments. He then served as Philippine Energy Secretary over the period June 2001 to March 2005 renewing interest in oil exploration and aggressively promoting the usage of clean, indigenous energy sources such as natural gas, geothermal and biofuels.

    Vince was a World Fellow at Yale University where he currently lectures on renewable energy. He is an Independent Director of SM Investments Corporation, ST Telemedia, and is also a member of the National Council of the World Wildlife Fund - US.

    Bill is a leading energy expert with more than 32 years of experience in the energy sector with Exxon Corporation and the BHP Billiton Group, and has held senior executive positions in Australia, Asia, South America, and the USA.

    Until recently, Bill was President of Australia/Asia Gas at BHP Billiton Petroleum, where he had overall strategic, commercial and corporate accountability for BHP Billiton's international LNG business and its domestic gas business in Australia. From 1999 to 2004, Bill was CEO of BHP Billiton Petroleum (North West Shelf), where he had full responsibility for BHPB's interest in the North West Shelf Project, the Browse LNG Project, and the Pilbara LNG Project.

    Bill has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (Summa cum Laude) from the University of South Carolina in the USA. He is currently National Vice Chairman of the Australia-China Business Council, Governor of the American Chamber of Commerce in Australia, Adjunct Professor at Murdoch University, Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Director of the Lions Eye Institute and the West Australian Symphony Orchestra, and a member of the UWA Confucius Centre Advisory Board.

    Jocot is a lawyer with over 15 years experience in commercial and financial transactions, 10 of them in the energy sector. He brings with him exemplary qualifications and a deep knowledge of the industry in the Philippines. Most recently, Mr de Dios was appointed Managing Director at Merritt Advisory Partners Inc., an energy advisory company focusing on energy projects and transactions within Asia.

     

     

    Mr de Dios served as Chairman of the Board of publicly listed Philippine National Oil Company-Exploration Corporation (PNOC-EC) and held the distinguished position of Undersecretary (Deputy Minister) of the Philippine Department of Energy for three years where he supervised preparation of the Philippine Energy Plan.

     

    An accomplished public speaker he has held the floor at the World Renewable Energy Summit and the Asia Pacific Natural Gas Vehicle Association Conference in Kuala Lumpur, among others, and was a delegate and panellist at the World Gas Conference in Tokyo, 2003.

     

    In 2005 Mr de Dios received the prestigious Secretary’s Award of Recognition for Distinguished Government Service.
