The province of Palawan, made up of some 1,700 mountainous islands thickly spread with lush rainforests, is the least populated region of the Philippines. Bordered to the west by the South China Sea and to the east by the Sulu Sea this beautiful province is home to flora so unique it still awaits classification.

Despite having some 1,700 islands the province of Palawan makes up only 5% of the national territory of the Philippines. Home to 92 million people living across 7,107 islands the Philippine archipelago is a unique and precious treasure.
