Jocot de Dios

President
Chief Executive Officer
As President and CEO of Nido, Jocot oversees the execution of company strategies and manages day-to-day operations and activities. Jocot also concurrently serves as President of Nido Petroleum Philippines, an operating subsidiary of Nido Petroleum. In this role, he is also responsible for maintaining relations with project stakeholders including relevant Philippine Government agencies, local Joint Venture partners, the communities in which the company works and local contractors.
Jocot is a lawyer with over 15 years experience in commercial, financial and energy transactions. He served as managing director at Merritt Advisory Partners Inc. and as chairman of the board of the Philippine National Oil Company - Exploration Corporation. Whilst working as undersecretary for the Philippine Department of Energy he was integral to the restructuring of the country's power sector.
Jocot graduated from the University of Philippines, Ateneo De Manila School of Law and Harvard Law School and was the recipient of the prestigious Secretary's Award of Recognition for Distinguished Government Service in 2005.
Joanne Williams

Deputy Managing Director
Joanne is the deputy-managing director at Nido Petroleum.
Joanne has 15 years experience in the upstream oil and gas industry where she has held positions in the areas of offshore production operations and management, reservoir engineering, hands-on FPSO operations, field appraisal and development planning, project management, mergers and acquisitions, corporate and business development.
Joanne has extensive expertise in identifying and realising marginal field opportunities as well as optimisation and extension of late-life field production. Joanne's experience includes positions with upstream and gas operating companies including Woodside Petroleum, Newfield Exploration, Crusader Resources, Clyde Resources and Gulf Australia.
She graduated from Adelaide University with a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) degree. In 2007 she received the 40 Under 40 award and was a finalist in the Telstra Business Women of the Year awards.
Ashley Gilbert
B.Comm, CA, A Fin, GAICD
Chief Financial Officer
Ashley Gilbert joined Nido in 2006 and was appointed to the role of Chief Financial Officer in 2007.
As a Chartered Accountant with over 16 years experience in commerce and public practice, his previous roles include finance positions within the Corporate, Exploration and Portfolio & Planning divisions of Woodside Petroleum Limited, as well as working for GlaxoSmithKline plc in London and prior to this spending seven years in public practice in taxation, auditing, business development and financial management roles.
Ashley is responsible for managing Nido Petroleum's financial, accounting, taxation, treasury, risk and insurance matters.
Jon Pattillo

Head of Exploration
Jon is Head of Exploration at Nido Petroleum.
He is a senior petroleum executive with over 26 years experience in the oil and gas industry and a proven track record of delivering and creating value through organic growth and new business development projects. He has worked in the majority of the world premier oil and gas provinces including the North Sea, Middle East, West Africa, SE Asia, Australia's NW Shelf and PNG.
He has also held senior executive management positions with Oil Search Limited, BHP Petroleum Pty Ltd, Bridge Oil Pty Ltd, Enterprise Oil Exploration Limited and Phillips Petroleum. These include positions managing international exploration and development projects, strategic planning and commercial areas of the oil and gas business.
Jon graduated from the University of London with a Bachelor of Science (Hons) and a Master of Science.
John Newman
B.Ec, LLB
General Counsel and Company Secretary
John is responsible for managing Nido's legal teams in Perth and Manila and has more than 15 years experience as a lawyer.
John's recent experience includes a senior legal position with the Timor Sea Designated Authority where he worked on the Bayu-Undan LNG Project, an executive appointment with the Northern Territory Government working on the Ichtys LNG Project and with Cridlands Lawyers where he negotiated the project agreements for the Bootu Creek manganese mine.
John also worked at the Northern Land Council representing traditional Aboriginal owners in projects such as the Ranger Uranium Mine. Prior to working in a resources context John was the principal lawyer with the Refugee and Immigration Legal Centre in Melbourne where he was an accredited specialist in immigration law.
John graduated from Monash University with a Bachelor of Economics and a Bachelor of Laws.

Latasha Kirton

Latasha provides company secretarial and paralegal support to Nido's Company Secretary, In-House Counsel and Chief Financial Controller and is Company Secretary of selected subsidiary companies.
Latasha has over 11 years experience in the legal industry at paralegal and legal secretary level and over three years experience in the Company Secretary area of an Australian listed company. She has previously worked with Downings Legal in Perth, Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in London and Adams & Horsley Solicitors in New Zealand.
Latasha holds the Chartered Secretaries of Australia Certificate in Corporate Governance and the Legal Executive Certificate from the New Zealand Law Society.
